Return Policy for Stichting The Cellist’s Companion

At Stichting The Cellist’s Companion, we appreciate your support and strive to ensure the best possible experience for our customers when purchasing our exclusive hardcover books. We understand that sometimes a purchase may not meet your expectations, and that’s why we have established a simple and flexible return policy.

  1. Return Period

You can return an item within 14 days of receipt of your order, provided the product is in its original condition and packaging. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service by email at support@thecellistscompanion.com.

  1. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the product must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition you received it
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Have a receipt or proof of purchase

Please note that we only accept returns for the legal hardcover edition of A Cellist’s Companion. Any returns of paperback editions will not be accepted, as they are sold and distributed in violation of copyright.

  1. Shipping Costs

You are responsible for covering the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will not be included.

  1. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days.

  1. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a damaged item for the same item, please contact our customer service at cc-info@cellocompanion.com

All sellers of newly printed versions of the paperback are selling/distributing the catalog in violation of copyright.

The only legal version of a cellists companion is the hardcover, which is available exclusively from the authors. ​
